Crook County Parks and Recreation District manages 13 parks and 3 campgrounds. Our parks and trails provide an array of nature walks and open space to picnic and play.
Pioneer Park

Prineville’s oldest park is located downtown next to the Crook County Courthouse on Third Street.
Ochoco Creek Park

This 14.85-acre park is one of the larger and most popular parks in the district. The park is located along Ochoco Creek.
Crooked River Park

This is the largest park operated by the District and includes four baseball/softball fields, an outdoor covered amphitheater, and a two-sided pavilion.
Stryker Park

Located directly West of Ochoco Creek Park across Elm Street, the park was formerly the women’s softball field.
Harwood Park

Located directly across from Kilowatt Field, this 1.5-acre park with shaded areas is located on Harwood Avenue where it meets Ochoco Creek.
Rimrock Park

Gervais Park

Constructed in 2001, this park provides an outdoor nature park conveniently located adjacent to Crook County Library.
Mountain View Park

Located just off Combs Flat Road on Mountain View Drive, this park includes access to Ochoco Creek for fishing, horseshoe pits and a picnic area under a gazebo.
Yellowpine Park

Gary Ward Park

This field is used primarily by the Prineville Women’s Softball League and includes bleachers, dugouts, a covered picnic shelter, picnic tables, drinking fountain, parking, and ADA accessible restrooms
