OCHOCO LAKE CAMPGROUND

Ochoco Lake County Park is located just 7 miles east of Prineville Oregon in the foothills of the Ochoco National Forest. There are (22) regular tent / small RV sites and (9) walk-in sites. The campground is situated on a peninsula and some of the campsites have views of the lake. You can easily access the lake for water play or launch a boat at the day-use area boat ramp. The campground is tucked under a canopy of Juniper trees and there is a full-service restroom with showers. Firewood and ice are sold by the camp hosts on site. Reservations can be made up to thirteen months in advance and are recommended as this site does fill up quickly. Reservations cannot be made online within 48 hours of arrival. We do allow first come first serve as availability allows; reservations take priority. In mid to late summer the water level does tend to drop in the lake and may become difficult to launch larger boats. Large RV’s are not recommended for this campground as the spaces are tight.
